Excellent fine dining experience on Valentine's day. We were lucky to get a spot on an extremely busy day. We sat at the bar. Our servers took the time to explain the food menu. Served drinks and water promptly. Great food and service. Highly recommend! This restaurant is ranked 8th best restaurant in Canada.
Cute and intimate spot for a delicious experience! The quality of ingredients were very fresh and portions were reasonable. We were pretty stuffed by the end. Also, the front of house team worked well together and were very attentive!
I came here for a bachelorette dinner party and our group was so warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. We had the tasting menu and every single dish was just delicious. Thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and perfectly paced — each course was a highlight in its own way. You can truly taste the care and creativity behind the food. Now I understand why Beba is always at the top of so many culinary lists. For me, it’s one of the best restaurants in Montreal — from service to food to atmosphere, everything was impeccable. I’m already excited to come back again and again and again.

I really wanted to go there but was still skeptical because the food on the photos and with their description didn't seem as fabulous as their ranking reviews would suggest. Oh was I wrong, we took the 3 appetizers on the menu (caviar, mackerel and involtini) and they were all amazing. Only sidenote would be that there were pieces of rock like substance in my involtini and they told me they would subtract it from the receipt but didn't. The main course more than made up for it. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE PASTA. Their lamb ragu is amazing and their pasta is better than in Italy (I kid you not). For dessert we had the semifreddo and even though I'm not a big fan of pistachio this was amazing. I recommend for a special event

After living in Montreal for five years and traveling extensively through the USA, Europe, and Asia, I can confidently say Beba ranks in the top 5% of restaurants I’ve experienced worldwide. The atmosphere is warm, the service impeccable, and every dish is crafted with creativity and care. The flavors are bold yet refined, turning simple ingredients into something unforgettable. The service was excellent, and the bartender (his name is Evan) was especially kind and welcoming. His recommendations were great ! That personal touch really elevated the entire experience. Beba isn’t just a great restaurant—it’s a true gem in Montreal’s culinary scene. I can’t wait to go back.
Very good food, with a focus on delicious ingredients and no extra frills that don't add anything to the flavour of the dish. All plates were shared and were thoughtfully prepared knowing how many patrons were seated at our table and priced accordingly. I think I had a bit too much butter with my bite of mackerel but it was very popular with my companions. The pasta was particularly excellent and I especially loved the escarole that was paired with the veal. We were also given bread to mop up the veal sauce with, which was great and felt homey. The whole meal felt like elevated home cooking, prepared with intention and love. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and felt like everything we ate during our stay in Montreal was compared to our meal at beba. We would absolutely dine here again with any subsequent visit!
